Reviews of my work:
Your use of language feels less like mastery and more like partnership…as though sometimes your words might participate–seduce and scorn, dovetail and derail each other. It’s a measured dance without set steps: Intriguing. Madeleine Marzio, author.
Lance’s poems always inspire more dreams in more people than he can even know. Karima Hoisan, published poet.
I’ve followed Lance for several years now, and he has improved his works to excellence. They’re ripe with action and a beautiful way to live in a world unknown to many. Barbara Kasey Smith, published poet.
Lance creates a canvas painted with care and precision that allows the reader to complete the picture, or draw their own conclusions. We, in effect, interpret his genius. We bask in the light of his gift. Anna Waldherr, writer.
A pinnacle poet. Reading, I find myself, nose pressed between pages of Yeats, Longfellow, Browning, Whitman. His poetry, I see as flowing streams, hear as melody… the words like prayers tuck themselves within all the cracks within my heart. Laura M. Bailey, writer.

I’m sarcastic, have an offbeat sense of humor, am a purveyor of words and imagery, dislike jiggery-pokery, and love to write, read, and drink coffee.
